Connect To Extraordinary
Following on from the concept presented during the past MDW, Haier focuses its attention on the person who becomes an active main character in the space and in a history that perfectly describes its likings and selections. This is when Internet of beings, artificial intelligence and premium technology find their best expression. The whole ecosystem of Haier appliances and connected solutions form the concept of an interactive and engaging game of mirrors, lights, and sounds, a smart system that perceives the presence of the person, follows their movements and is shaped around them to provide a tailor-made experience. The Touch&Feel installation engages visitors and provides them with the chance of playing as actors in several home scenarios and in the fascinating world of the smart home, while being guided by the hOn app. This is also the case with the area dedicated to the digital ecosystem for wine lovers, developed in synergy with different major partners of the wine world, Vivino, Tannico, Coravin, Compravini, Sommelier Winebox and Cantine.Wine. The hOn app offers the chance to all enthusiasts to manage their collection of wines through their smartphones, just by scanning the bottle label. Visitors can enjoy the experience, create their own virtual wine cellar and discover the first ecosystem dedicated to their passion. The exhibition area will display Serie CUBE 90, the fridge that can manage the whole house ecosystem connecting to any Haier appliance in the house: from the wine cooler Wine Bank 60 Serie 7 to I-PRO Serie 7 plus washing machine and Superdrum Serie 9 washer dryer, from WASHLENS Serie 7 dishwasher to Chef@home Series 6 oven, among the main products.

Color Design® Lechler – “The Way of Accent”
Valuable elements characterising the domestic habitat.
Lechler interprets the theme of sustainability by promoting a culture that discourages the production of waste. The need to reduce the production of useless manufactured items with ephemeral duration and representing an infinite source of waste to be disposed of, leads us towards a production of valuable elements, which we will not replace quickly, because they are well-finished and beautiful and we become attached to them because they partially represent us. In this exhibition Lechler offers four collections of timeless colours and effects to create timeless spaces thanks to "objects" intended in a broad sense: valuable manufactured items, furniture, walls, in which paint is a precious element that adds or returns to give great value. The four collections of "The Way of Accent" - Lechler's latest Color Design® project - are inspired by the timeless colours of quartz and agates, where the variegation of the geodes reveals accents and colours on neutral schemes going back millions of years. Our proposal is, actually, also a revision and an evolution of the concept of neutral, in which the colour does not disappear but is used in a different way. The Color Design® concept of Lechler, a paint manufacturer since 1858, links the development of chemistry to the evolution of the language of colour, providing indications, suggestions and technical information that facilitate the selection of colours and finishes to design domestic environments and to harmonise furniture, accessories and walls at the same time. With a view of sustainability neutral colours last longer and have a longer visual duration. However, in a neutral context, to characterise the environment it is necessary to give an accent, that is to enhance a point (a manufactured item, a piece of furniture, a wall detail). We work by priority of visual reading: the accent is the focus.
...New HOLOS - Awakening New Health
Under the theme of "New HOLOS -Awakening New Health-," the Graduate School of System Design and Management at Keio University (Keio SDM) exhibits two solutions: 1) YOKUN, a new habit-based training program that focuses on the decline of the sense of smell that we are not usually aware of; and 2) AQUA STASIS, a product that encourages proper hydration on a daily basis, which is difficult to practice even if you know it is necessary.
YOKUN
The sense of smell declines with age, also the sense whose decline is least recognized. As one's sense of smell declines, one becomes insensitive to strange smells and is unable to detect danger. It also makes food less tasty, reduces appetite, and is detrimental to health. The sense of smell is an important sense for safety and longevity.
YOKUN is a habit-based olfactory training system. The system makes people to think about the other person through the exchange of scents and to continue the training by realizing a gentle communication.
AQUA STASIS
The amount of water a person should drink each day is hard to drink consciously, and not so much fun.
However, if you change your point of view of consuming water, this can be a different appearance.
AQUA STASIS is a product that allows people to drink the required amount of water daily by combining the Japanese approach of giving water a temporal meaning and the Western approach of giving water a spatial beauty.

The Roof space will also follow the philosophy of "no compromise" and will be curated for gloTM by TOILETPAPER magazine, the creative collective founded by Maurizio Cattelan and Pierpaolo Ferrari, to recreate an urban garden with a strong visual impact. A super pop space, open to the public every day until 9pm.
